Project Overview
Everyday Living & Layout Philosophy
We designed this custom two-story residence to balance everyday livability with strong architectural presence. The main living level is centered around an open-concept great room with vaulted ceilings, architectural beam details, and expansive window groupings that bring in abundant natural light. The kitchen and dining areas are centrally located to create seamless flow for daily living and entertaining, while still maintaining clear separation from the home’s private spaces.
Main Floor & Primary Suite
The primary suite is located on the main level and designed as a private retreat, featuring a spacious bedroom, a spa-inspired bathroom with a freestanding tub and walk-in shower, and a generous walk-in closet with custom storage. Secondary bedrooms and guest spaces are thoughtfully placed to provide comfort and privacy, while the upper level adds flexible living space with a large bonus room, additional bedrooms, and open-to-below overlooks that create visual connection back to the main living areas.
Additional Spaces & Indoor/Outdoor Connection
Outdoor living was a key focus of this design. We incorporated multiple covered porches, screened living areas, balconies, and decks to extend the usable living space and strengthen the connection between indoor and outdoor environments. Architecturally, the home features a timeless exterior composed of heavy sacked brick, stone accents, vinyl shake detailing, decorative gable trusses, and steep roof pitches, creating depth, balance, and long-lasting curb appeal. This project reflects our design-build approach—combining thoughtful planning, efficient construction, and high-quality materials to create a home that is both functional and enduring.

Project Outcome
The final outcome of this project was a home our clients were truly thrilled with. From the moment they moved in, they expressed how well the design supported both their everyday living and their long-term goals. One of the most rewarding pieces of feedback came when the owner shared images of their exceptionally low electric bills, reinforcing that the home’s design, systems, and overall efficiency performed exactly as intended.
The home quickly became a gathering place for family and friends, with the pool and outdoor entertaining areas serving as a natural extension of the living space. Large gatherings and casual get-togethers alike were easily accommodated, with outdoor spaces that felt just as comfortable and functional as the interior.
Equally important was the seamless connection between indoor and outdoor living. The transition from the main living areas to the covered porches, patios, and pool environment created a continuous flow that allowed the home to live larger than its footprint. Doors, sightlines, and layout choices were intentionally designed so the outdoors felt like an extension of the interior rather than a separate space. The result was a home that not only looks impressive, but truly enhances how the clients live, entertain, and enjoy their space every day.
